1) It's May 10th 2006. Sorry guys---been gone a while with business. I'll try to update more often.

2) Only noteworthy thing to mention in the near future is the upcoming North Coast Literary Review issue # 3 which will be devoted to nature. The publication will be delayed. Expected publication date will be November 2006.

October 14th onward:

The opening of the new DeYoung Museum. The Chronicle reported that it was a bit of a shoving match out there for the "free" entry. Nope...nothing is free. Ever. So I didn't go, suspecting exactly what would happen as the newbie art lovers duked it out with each other. I'll be going some time next week, I imagine...perhaps Wednesday...just before the reading at Sacred Grounds. Which is a quick walk from Golden Gate Park (around 8th Avenue).

Sacred Grounds, on Wednesday, October 19th. Dan Brady will be reading his work. 2095 Hayes Street (415) 387-3859. Sign up at 7:00 PM. Jehanah Wedgwood, coordinator.

Then, on Thursday October 20th, 8:00 P.M. there will be a tea
ceremony at Clarion Music Center, 816 Sacramento St (at Grant),
San Francisco. (415) 391-1317. Clara Hsu will be hosting.

On November 5th, I will be one of the readers at Live Worms
1345 Grant Ave (between Vallejo and Green) in North Beach.
Events are in conjuction with a three day art event by Wilda
Ferguson who will be exhibiting her collages and mandalas.
( The readings will occur during
the reception: 5:30-9:30.

Hope you can attend. Each event should provide an interesting
intersection to the arts.
